Nine SATT tech-transfer startups among 80 named to France's French Tech 2030 cohort
Mission French Tech named 80 startups to the third French Tech 2030 cohort on 16 October; the SATT tech-transfer network counts nine, and École polytechnique says eleven involve its alumni.
Why it matters: Startups backed by France's SATT technology-transfer companies and those founded or led by École polytechnique alumni hold places in the 2026 French Tech 2030 cohort.
According to the SATT network (Réseau SATT, France's technology transfer acceleration companies), Mission French Tech unveiled the 2026 winners of the French Tech 2030 programme on 16 October 2026.
The SATT network said this third cohort brings together 80 startups working in fields including AI, space, quantum, cybersecurity, robotics and semiconductors, and that nine of them are SATT startups.
École polytechnique said the programme, presented by France's Ministry of the Economy and Finance, recognises firms developing strategic technologies to strengthen the country's technological and industrial autonomy.
The school said eleven of the 80 selected startups were founded or are led by its alumni, working in areas such as quantum, AI, robotics, cybersecurity, health and space communications.
