Why it matters: The university community at Tec de Monterrey's Querétaro campus gains a direct link with the nine clusters of the state network, which will operate from the Parque Tecnológico.

Tecnológico de Monterrey's Querétaro campus and the Red Estatal de Clústeres de Querétaro (Querétaro State Cluster Network) signed an agreement setting up a new physical base for the state's productive sectors within the university, the university reported.

Under the agreement, the network's nine clusters will operate from the ninth floor of the Parque Tecnológico (Technology Park), forming a direct link with the university community, according to the university.

The university said spaces including the Innovation Hub and the Institute of Artificial Intelligence will soon be added to strengthen the collaboration.

Government, academic and business representatives at the signing said the closer proximity would allow knowledge to be turned into practical solutions for the state's competitiveness.
