University of Warsaw chemist wins NCN OPUS funding to probe noble gas reactivity
A team led by Prof. Mihails Arhangelskis of the University of Warsaw's Faculty of Chemistry has secured funding from Poland's National Science Centre to study noble gas chemistry under extreme conditions.
Why it matters: Prof. Mihails Arhangelskis's team at the University of Warsaw's Faculty of Chemistry now has National Science Centre funding for its noble gas chemistry project.
The University of Warsaw said a project led by Prof. Mihails Arhangelskis of its Faculty of Chemistry received funding in the OPUS 30+LAP/Weave competition run by the National Science Centre (Narodowe Centrum Nauki, NCN).
According to the university, the team aims to investigate the chemistry of noble gases under extreme conditions.
The university said the team also intends to show that even the most noble elements can display rich chemical reactivity.
