Why it matters: For Etisense and NeuralCloud Solutions, the partnership puts the MaxYield™ engine into the LASA software, first for large-animal ECGs and later for rodents.

According to Réseau SATT, the network of French technology transfer acceleration companies, Etisense is a start-up that originated in the TIMC laboratory and was co-founded by Linksium.

Réseau SATT reported that Etisense has entered a partnership with NeuralCloud Solutions under which the MaxYield™ AI engine will be integrated into the LASA software.

The stated aim is to automate the analysis of preclinical electrocardiograms (ECGs), starting with large animals and then extending to rodents, according to the network.

The network described Etisense as having been founded in Grenoble on the basis of research carried out there.

For Etisense and NeuralCloud Solutions, the agreement means that, once MaxYield™ is integrated into the LASA software, preclinical ECG analysis is to be automated for large animals first, with rodents to follow.

What to watch

  • Whether the automated ECG analysis is extended from large animals to rodents, as announced.
