Why it matters: Visitors to the Universidad de Concepción's Central Library can submit ideas for new rules, and UdeC students will render them in legal language.

The Universidad de Concepción (UdeC) in Chile reported that Law Shifters, a work by Danish artist Stine Marie Jacobsen, has been installed as a sculpture in its Central Library.

According to the university, the work invites the public to imagine new rules for society and to suggest changes.

The university said UdeC students will translate the public's ideas into legal language.
