Khon Kaen University faculty partners with Lao medical centre to market health AI
A Khon Kaen University faculty has teamed with a company and a medical centre in Laos to turn its health research and AI innovation into commercial products.
Why it matters: Researchers in Khon Kaen University's medical sciences faculty now have a named commercial partnership for taking their health AI work into Laos.
Khon Kaen University reported that its Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS KKU) is pushing to commercialise its health research and innovation.
The university said the work is being carried out by CISMaP, the faculty's centre for innovation and standards in medical technology and physical therapy.
Partners in the collaboration are the company NP Green Solution (NP Group) and LOVE STK Medical and Treatment Center, which is based in Laos, the university said.
The university presented the partnership as a route for its health AI innovation to enter the Lao healthcare market.
