Why it matters: The director of Tec Guadalajara's law degree advises the CRECE Distinction, which certifies the workplace-inclusion practices of companies operating in Jalisco.

Tec de Monterrey reported that its Guadalajara campus hosted the forum "La inclusión como estrategia: experiencias y retos del entorno empresarial" (Inclusion as a strategy: experiences and challenges in the business environment) as part of the work of the CRECE Distinction in Jalisco.

According to the university, the CRECE Distinction certifies good practices in labour inclusion among companies operating in the Mexican state of Jalisco.

The forum brought together business people, professors, and government and civil-society organisations to share ideas and experiences on workplace inclusion, the university said.

Javier Contreras, director of the law degree at Tec Guadalajara and an adviser to the CRECE Distinction, said the forum broadened the impact of the certification process by highlighting good practices and raising awareness.
