Why it matters: Small fruit distilleries are the businesses the thesis examined, and its results indicate the right insulation would pay off for them within a few years.

Ibrahim Abu Mustafa examined how small fruit distilleries can reduce their energy consumption in his master's thesis at Hochschule Bremerhaven.

The thesis was written in the Process Engineering and Energy Technology (PEET) degree programme.

According to his results, the right insulation would pay off after a few years, both ecologically and economically.
