Universidad Nacional de La Plata opens construction bids for third stage of student housing
Argentina's Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) has opened construction bids for the third stage of its Barrio Universitario, a complex offering students rented flats at an affordable cost.
Why it matters: Students across UNLP's faculties who need an affordable rented flat are the intended users of the third stage of the complex.
According to the university, its president, Fernando Tauber, led a formal ceremony to open the bid envelopes for building the third stage of the Barrio Universitario (University Neighbourhood).
The university describes the Barrio Universitario as a student complex for students from its various faculties who need to rent a flat at an affordable, preferential cost.
