UNAM debuts immersive virtual information centre for graduate programmes at national expo
The graduate studies coordination at UNAM, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, showcased its programmes at a national graduate congress and presented an immersive virtual information centre for the first time.
Why it matters: Prospective UNAM graduate students are the stated audience for the new virtual centre, which the university presents as a new way to learn about its programmes.
According to Gaceta UNAM, UNAM's General Coordination of Graduate Studies (Coordinación General de Estudios de Posgrado) took part in the National Graduate Studies Congress and Graduate Expo, where it presented its academic offer.
At the event, the coordination presented the Centro Virtual de Información UNAM POSGRADO (UNAM Graduate Virtual Information Centre) for the first time, Gaceta UNAM reported.
The university describes the centre as an immersive experience that proposes a new way to bring its graduate programmes and services closer to future generations of students.
