TÜBİTAK and Poland's NCBR select seven Turkish-Polish projects for joint support
Türkiye's research council TÜBİTAK and Poland's National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) have chosen seven bilateral projects linking universities, research bodies and companies in both countries.
Why it matters: University and company teams in Türkiye and Poland named on the seven selected projects, including Özyeğin, Yıldız Technical, Warsaw and Jagiellonian universities, now have support decisions.
TÜBİTAK, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye, said on 3 November 2026 that evaluation of the call under its 2549 bilateral cooperation programme with Poland's National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) has been completed.
According to TÜBİTAK, the two agencies decided to support a total of seven projects.
The published list pairs Turkish universities such as Özyeğin University, Yıldız Technical University, Bezmialem Vakıf University, Ankara University and Marmara University with Polish partners including Opole University of Technology, the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the University of Warsaw and Jagiellonian University.
Companies from both countries also appear among the project partners, including Truemed, Corbell Robotics, AMAZEMET, Elmiko Biosignals and Pikralida.
