Universidad de Concepción reported that Óscar Link was recognised as Outstanding Researcher 2026 at a national meeting on water resources.
According to the university, academics from Universidad de Concepción took part in the meeting and addressed the challenges of climate change and water resource management.
The university said the meeting also included a posthumous tribute to Óscar Parra Barrientos, an emeritus professor of Universidad de Concepción.
