Why it matters: Trinity College Dublin, the University of Naples Federico II and the 15 doctoral candidates the network will train are directly involved in this EU-funded programme.

The European Commission's CORDIS database lists QUESTING as a project funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), the EU's researcher training programme, through its 2024 Doctoral Networks call.

According to the CORDIS record, the programme will train 15 doctoral candidates in quantum networks, hybrid classical-quantum systems and fault-tolerant design, combining physics, mathematics, computing and engineering with sociocultural and ethical perspectives.

The project description says the programme will foster collaboration between academia and industry and aims to place Europe at the forefront of quantum technology.

Trinity College Dublin and the University of Naples Federico II appear among the organisations listed as participants.
