Why it matters: Neapolis University Pafos's researchers and research managers are the direct targets of the project's mentoring, mobility, data infrastructure and administrative training work.

According to the European Commission's CORDIS project listing, GENDRIVE aims to turn Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) in Cyprus into a regional Centre of Excellence for intersectional gender equality research.

The project partners NUP with University College London and Universitat de Barcelona as Advanced Partners, with KMOP handling policy translation.

The planned activities include co-produced mixed-methods research on career trajectories, a two-way mobility and mentoring programme, a GDPR-compliant Secure Research Data Hub, and training for research managers aligned with the European Competence Framework for Research Managers.

It is funded as a Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action under the Widening participation and spreading excellence strand.
