Why it matters: UNAM's university community is the group Rector Leonardo Lomelí names as gaining from the university's hosting of the school in 2027.

Gaceta UNAM, the university's news outlet, reported that the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) will host the Escuela Complutense Latinoamericana in 2027.

Rector Leonardo Lomelí said the hosting offers members of the university community an opportunity to share experiences and enrich their education with competitive tools for a global environment.
