TÜBİTAK institute opens applications for 6G sensing winter school with 50 in-person places
TÜBİTAK's Basic Sciences Research Institute will run a winter school on integrated sensing and communication on 23–25 November 2026, with in-person attendance limited to 50 people.
Why it matters: Master's and doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers in related fields are to receive priority for the 50 in-person places at the November school.
TÜBİTAK, Türkiye's Scientific and Technological Research Council, announced that its Basic Sciences Research Institute (TBAE) has opened applications for the 2026 Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) Winter School, to be held on 23–25 November 2026.
According to TÜBİTAK, ISAC lets wireless systems both communicate and sense using shared spectrum, hardware and waveforms, and is a key technology for 6G networks.
The programme aims to cover radar and wireless sensing basics, OFDM and MIMO systems, ISAC architectures, waveform and beamforming design, and performance limits, with possible further topics including 5G-Advanced and 6G standardisation and drone detection.
TÜBİTAK said in-person attendance is limited to 50 people, with master's and doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers in related fields given priority for those places.
