Why it matters: The episode records how the Tecnológico de Monterrey Educational Group's vice-president of administration says he handles responsibilities he is still learning.

Tecnológico de Monterrey reported that the third episode of El mundo detrás del líder (The world behind the leader), a conversation series hosted by Grupo Educativo Tecnológico de Monterrey executive president David Garza, features vice-president of administration Miguel Valle.

According to the university, Valle said a leader taking on a role with things still to learn should first acknowledge this, identify the gaps, rely on more experienced people and be willing to learn along the way.

The university said Valle discussed experiences that shaped his leadership, including working weeks of up to 100 hours in investment banking and eight years spent as a DJ.
