IPB University and Dreamdelion launch WAVE programme on entrepreneurship and financial literacy
IPB University and the Dreamdelion Indonesia Foundation have opened WAVE, a programme series that includes a business competition, a bootcamp and business incubation, aimed at strengthening students' entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
Why it matters: IPB University's vice-rector urged students to use the WAVE programme to build networks and develop economic and emotional independence.
According to IPB University, it has partnered with the Dreamdelion Indonesia Foundation to launch Women's Economic and Emotional Empowerment for Value Enhancement (WAVE), an entrepreneurship programme series that includes a business competition, a bootcamp and business incubation.
The university said the series opened on 25 October with a webinar titled "Entrepreneurial Mindset: Discover, Build, and Grow Your Ideas".
Prof Deni Noviana, IPB's vice-rector for education and student affairs, said women entrepreneurs in Indonesia often face multiple barriers, including in financial literacy, business networks and mental resilience.
He described the programme as built on four pillars: business development knowledge, financial literacy, mental health and resilience, and social media management skills.
