Crue asks parties in Spain's 29 November election to adopt a state policy for universities
The governing board of Crue, the Spanish universities' association, has issued a ten-point list asking parties standing in the 29 November general election to commit to a state policy for universities.
Why it matters: Parties contesting the 29 November general election are being asked by Crue's governing board to commit to a state policy for universities.
Crue said its governing board, the Junta Rectora, is calling for a state policy for universities from the political parties contesting the general election on 29 November.
The call, issued in Madrid on 27 October 2026, takes the form of a ten-point list titled as a plan to make universities the engine of the country's transformation into a knowledge society.
