Why it matters: Researchers aiming to influence Welsh policy and discourse can attend the 1 December online session on how to engage with the Senedd.

Universities Wales has listed a WIN Talks session, part of its Wales Innovation Network, titled 'Giving your research a voice in the Senedd'.

The session is scheduled for 1 December 2026 at 1:00pm and will take place on Microsoft Teams, with sign-up through an online form.

According to the organisers, it will outline how the parts of the Welsh policy landscape fit together, present examples of successful engagement with the Senedd and its impact, and set out opportunities to engage.

The organisers said the session will also give practical advice on making research heard, describing the boundary between policy and academic research as complex to navigate.
