Universitas Padjadjaran sends 14 student teams to Indonesia's PIMNAS 39, up from six
Universitas Padjadjaran has qualified 14 student creativity teams for Indonesia's 39th national student science week, ranking sixth among universities by number of teams.
Why it matters: Fourteen Universitas Padjadjaran student teams will compete at PIMNAS 39 in Semarang from 2 to 7 November 2026.
Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) said 14 of its Student Creativity Programme (PKM) teams qualified for PIMNAS 39, Indonesia's 39th National Student Science Week, to be held at Universitas Diponegoro in Semarang on 2-7 November 2026.
According to the university, the result places Unpad sixth among higher education institutions by number of qualifying teams, up from six teams the previous year.
Unpad said students went through internal selection and received funding from Belmawa, the learning and student affairs directorate within the Directorate General of Higher Education at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, before qualifying.
Dr Gema Wibawa Mukti, head of Unpad's centre for student creativity, interest and talent development, said the result reflected a year of hard work, including coaching, regular monitoring and evaluation, and reviewer feedback.
