Universidad Nacional de La Plata hosts delegation from Beijing municipal assembly
Argentina's Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) received Chinese officials led by Yu Jun of the Beijing Municipal People's Assembly Standing Committee, with its engineering dean taking part.
Why it matters: UNLP's academic vice-president and engineering dean both took part in the meeting with the Beijing municipal delegation, which the university presented as international cooperation.
UNLP said its academic vice-president, Marcelo Pecoraro, received a delegation of authorities from the People's Republic of China.
According to the university, the delegation was headed by Yu Jun, vice-president of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People's Assembly.
The university reported that Marcos Actis, dean of its Faculty of Engineering, also took part in the meeting.
