Argentina's Universidad Nacional de La Plata has awarded certificates to extension workers who completed Alternative Formal Education pathways in SURES, its Regional University Health System.
Why it matters: Extension workers who completed SURES Alternative Formal Education pathways at Universidad Nacional de La Plata now hold formal certificates recognising that work.
Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) said its president, Fernando Tauber, led an institutional ceremony presenting certificates to extension workers.
According to UNLP, the certificates recognise activities carried out within the Alternative Formal Education pathways of SURES, the Regional University Health System.
The university said Tauber was joined by Institutional Vice-President Andrea Varela and Secretary of Extension Sebastián Palma, among other officials.
