UNAM seminar and national archive platform open virtual exhibition on women in Mexico's book world
A seminar at UNAM's Institute of Bibliographic Research and Memórica, a platform of Mexico's General Archive of the Nation, have launched an online exhibition on women in the world of the book in Mexico.
Why it matters: Researchers and audiences studying book history in Mexico gain an online exhibition from UNAM's Seminar on Women and Book Studies and the national archive's Memórica platform.
According to Gaceta UNAM, the Seminar on Women and Book Studies (SEMEL) of the Institute of Bibliographic Research at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) inaugurated a virtual exhibition together with Memórica.
Gaceta UNAM describes Memórica as a platform of the General Archive of the Nation (AGN), Mexico's national archive.
The exhibition is titled "Las mujeres en el mundo del libro en México. Escritos, imágenes y voces" (Women in the world of the book in Mexico: writings, images and voices).

The exhibition, now open online, is a joint product of UNAM's Seminar on Women and Book Studies and the national archive's Memórica platform, and it gives those researching women's place in Mexico's book history a shared virtual resource from both bodies.
