According to Pronabec, the Ministry of Education's national scholarship and student credit programme pushed back the closing time for applications to the 2027 Beca 18 call to 11:59 a.m. on Sunday 18 October.

Pronabec said the call offers 6,000 scholarships for professional degree study and targets final-year secondary pupils and school graduates with high academic performance who live in vulnerable circumstances.

The agency stated that the call has nine application routes, each with its own requirements, and that applicants meeting the requirements of their chosen route will be listed as eligible on 11 November.

Pronabec said eligible candidates will sit an in-person national preselection exam on 22 November, held simultaneously in all regions and consisting of 60 questions split equally between mathematics and reading competence.
