Why it matters: Students, PhD candidates and researchers at the centre and other universities can attend the 27 November session in person or online after registering.

Maastricht University announced that Phil Clark, Professor of International Politics at SOAS University of London, will present on why tackling inequality matters for reconciliation, drawing on post-genocide Rwanda.

The session is scheduled for 27 November 2026 from 13:15 to 14:45 and will be held both physically and online, with a Teams link sent after registration.

According to the university, the centre's Pick Our Brains sessions are open to its students, PhD students and senior members as well as to members of other research centres and universities, and consist of a short presentation followed by debate.

The centre says the sessions aim to foster intellectual exchange, offer feedback on ongoing research and potentially promote collaborations within and beyond the centre.
