Why it matters: Graduate students at the KNUST School of Business now have a new executive, headed by Eric Obeng Duah, representing them.

The university said Eric Obeng Duah has taken the oath of office as head of its business school's graduate student body, known as KSBGSA, and leads a seven-member executive.

According to the university, he replaced Albert Cheetham at a ceremony on 22 September 2026 in the school's Ayim Complex in Kumasi.

Esther Afriyie is vice-president, Doris Osei Bonsu is general secretary and Clement Sakyi is treasurer, with the team completed by an organising secretary, a gender commissioner and a judicial chairperson.

Mr Duah pledged to run the executive in a spirit of unity and common purpose, and the association's patron, Professor Henry Kofi Mensah, attended as a witness.
