Federal University of Juiz de Fora to add three evening bachelor's degrees from 2027
UFJF in Brazil will offer new evening bachelor's programmes in Brazilian Sign Language studies, International Relations, and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, with admission through Sisu from 2027.
According to Andifes, the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF) will launch three new undergraduate bachelor's programmes: Letras-Libras (Brazilian Sign Language studies), Relações Internacionais (International Relations) and Ciência de Dados e Inteligência Artificial (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence).
Andifes reported that all three programmes will be taught in the evening.
Entry to the programmes will be through Brazil's Sistema de Seleção Unificada (Sisu, the unified selection system) starting in 2027, according to Andifes.
The Andifes headline refers to 30 places for the bachelor's degree, though the announcement does not make clear whether this figure applies to each programme or in total.
Why it matters
Prospective students using Sisu for 2027 entry will have three additional evening options at UFJF, including a dedicated data science and AI degree.
