Why it matters: Applicants weighing École polytechnique's Bachelor of Science can see that nearly half of surveyed 2023 graduates went on to further study, including doctorates.

École polytechnique reported results of its 2026 Premier emploi (first job) survey of graduates from the 2023 class of its Bachelor of Science programme.

According to the school, close to 30 months after graduating, 45% of respondents were in work and 46% were continuing their studies, either in a doctorate or other programmes.

The school describes the programme as highly selective at entry and strongly international, and says these features carry through into graduates' later paths.
